We strive toward seeing every one of our students embrace his/her identity in Christ, and we believe God has a purpose for each student’s life. At LCA this happens in an environment where students are growing, creating, and trying new things within a supportive community of parents, alumni, coaches, teachers, and staff.
At Lexington Christian Academy we believe in cultivating the whole person; Heart, Mind, Body, and Soul. Here is a story about cultivating the soul.
Meet the Lee Family
When Kevin entered LCA he had never participated in any contact sports. Imagine his mother’s surprise when he came home and said he wanted to join the wrestling team! He said, “I wanted to challenge myself!”
Through the support of his teammates and coaches Kevin flourished on the wrestling team, and through the support of LCA’s art faculty Kevin leaned into his calling as an artist. He graduated from LCA and chose to pursue his studies at the Rhode Island School of Design.
“Throughout Kevin’s four years at LCA, it was really an education for me as well. The best school is not necessarily only focused on a single factor; is it focused on actually nurturing every aspect of the student.”
